Restoration
Every car or other vehicle, has its own history and patina. In all our radiator restorations or fabrications authenticity and craftsmanship comes first.
If possible, we will always try to reuse original radiator parts. These parts will be cleaned, straightened, and -if necessary- be repaired. If this is not possible, we will fabricate new parts to function at least as well as the original parts.
Before we replace radiator parts that are too damaged or are not reliable for use on the restored radiator , we will always discuss this with the customer.
All our restored radiators are pressure tested and thoroughly inspected before leaving our workshop.
Radiators can be collected at our workshop in Heinenoord or well packed and shipped to our customers around the world.
Steps
Steps in restauration
Step 1
The customer contacts us and/or sends us photos of the original radiator for an estimate of the restauration costs.
Step 2
When we've recieved the radiator it is inspected and photographed.
Step 3
The radiator parts are dismantled and checked. All parts are straightened and replaced if necessary. After that the shell is rebuilt and the new core is fitted.
Step 4
After the radiator has been rebuilt it is pressure tested and polished or painted. Now the radiator is ready to be fitted to the car.
